What Makes an Understanding Friend?

An understanding friend is someone:

- Who is there for you, no matter what.

- Who knows what makes you happy and sad.

- You trust enough to let down your defenses.

- Who is brutally honest with you – but speaks the truth with kindness and compassion.

- Who keeps your secrets, and is loyal and true.

- Who accepts you without judgment, and sees the best in you.

- Who listens to your problems, and understands your struggles.

- Who sees pasts your failings, forgives, and lets things go.

- Who can see your strengths and good points, and knows you have a future.
