How to Feel more Confident
A1. Focus on thinking happy, upbeat and positive
thoughts. The happier and more contented we feel, the more confident we tend to
feel as well. That is, we get life in perspective, and worry a lot less (about
ourselves, our fears and anxieties).
A2. Learn to
relax, and to laugh and smile more. Instead of panicking or dreading something
bad, start looking for the humour in that awful situation! Also, remind
yourself that we all mess up at times – so you’re not that different from
anybody else. (More confident people, just choose to let it go ….)
A3. Remember you’re as good as anybody else as we all
have our different strengths and weaknesses. Work hard, take a chance, and
throw caution to the wind. Keeping trying, stepping out, and one day you’ll
find you win!
A4. Don’t be afraid to experiment and to take a break
from the old, worn out routine. When you try something new you often start to
feel alive – and that will increase your confidence as well.
A5. Pay it forward. Affirm other people, do random acts
of kindness, pay others compliments and encourage where you can. When you build
up other people, and inspire confidence, you start to find that others start to
treat you that way, too.
