A few popular ways to find a little peace …


· Listen to your favourite music

· Get some exercise (anything from taking a walk on your own, to playing team sports, or going for a jog)

· Sit by the river and watch the water running over the pebbles

· Play with a pet

· Cuddle a baby, or play with a small child

· Spend some time in the great outdoors

· Meet some friends for coffee, dinner or a drink

· Play games

· Pray or meditate

· Have a nap, or sleep

· Read a book

· Watch a funny movie (or watch a kids’ movie!)

· Light some scented candles

· Do something creative (drawing, painting, scrapbooking, singing, dancing or playing an instrument)

· Have a massage

· Take a relaxing bath

· Lie on the grass and gaze up into the sky

· Walk barefoot (if you can, on the beach)

· Reflect on things that you are thankful for

· Allow yourself to daydream

· Take a long shower and dress up in your favourite clothes

·Hang out with people who make you laugh.
